Local painter Jeroen Vermeulen set up a temporary art gallery for some of his work at the former C’Est Moi store location at Tsawwassen Shopping Centre this week. His sister-in-law Henriette Letschert had to close her store after a cancer diagnosis and asked him to put up some paintings in the space during the final days of the lease, which ended on Wednesday. It received such a positive response that the shopping centre owner offered to allow it to remain for longer. Vermeulen said the paintings will stay up until Monday.
