The Delta Concert Band played at the Delta Funeral Home last Saturday for the celebration of life of longtime Tsawwassen resident, and Delta Concert Band member, Jack Currie.
Currie played with the band for over 40 years and held many positions with it, including president. He was made an honourary lifetime member when he retired from playing clarinet.
Currie and his wife, Joy, owned and operated Suzy-Q Fashions in Tsawwassen for over 28 years, retiring in 2005.
The Currie family was honoured to have the band play, as music and the Delta Concert Band were a major part of Jack's life.
