The second annual Barnside Harvest Festival promises to be bigger and better.

The festival takes place Sept. 13 to 15 at Ladner’s Paterson Park and has expanded its line-up to feature three full days of live music on three stages.

Headliners include The Glorious Sons, Sam Roberts Band, Loverboy, The Trews, Sloan, and Wide Mouth Mason.

“We’re thrilled that Barnside Harvest Festival was so well received by our community, so we’re pleased to bring this vibrant music festival experience back to Paterson Park,” says Ken Malenstyn, Barnside Brewing Co. General Manager. “Thanks to the tremendous support from the City of Delta, City staff and the many sponsors and community organizations! We’re excited for the new line-up and look forward to promoting Delta’s agricultural heritage and celebrating the harvest of locally grown food with music, food, fun and of course - farm fresh beer!”

Besides the headliners, the Market Stage will include some of the best emerging artists in the region including XL the Band, Ashleigh Ball (Hey Ocean!), Sadé Awele, Vox Rea, Spendo, BoomDaddy, Freeborn Soul, Nickolaj, Blake Harvard, Bryce Malensytn and more.

Sunday’s dog-friendly theme returns with Paw Pals Electric Picnic!

Festival patrons will be invited to bring their dogs for a fun Sunday afternoon in the park. Programming will include agility areas, musical mats and the Best Dressed Dog Contest, with the music provided by Larry Hennessey (JACK Up the 80’s) spinning vinyl classics and DJ Goodspin.

The festival will include a huge charity barbecue to benefit the Delta Firefighters Charitable Society, plus a multitude of food trucks and many tasty treats.

The Artisan Market will feature some of the region’s best artisans and crafters. Kids will love the games and activities in the McDonald’s Family Zone. Vendors, artisans and local organizations can apply to be part of the festival by visiting the Barnside Harvest Festival website.
