Artists in the Village Society hosts its first artists’ gathering later this month in Ladner.
Local business and life coach Kristine Irving will be speaking.
She will share the “human metamorphosis” we all experience as we transform through life’s opportunities, changes and transitions, the society’s website notes.
“We will look specifically at the artist’s journey and determine which phase you are in,” the site states.
“Are you just dipping your toe in the creative waters? Dreaming of what your life might look like as you immerse yourself deeper into being an artist? Struggling with a compare and despair attitude or frustrated that this is harder than expected? Or truly believing your dreams have come true but still feeling like you need to sleep with one eye open?”
The meeting, set for Monday, Feb. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Crow’s Nest Art Studio, 5038-47A Ave., Ladner, is free and non-members who are interested in learning more about the society are encouraged to attend. Those who plan on attending should email [email protected].
