The McKee Seniors' Recreation Centre in Ladner will be the hub of activity next weekend.
On Friday, June 27 at noon the centre will host a Canada Day Summer BBQ featuring burgers, hot dogs, salad and dessert. Those attending are encouraged to wear red and white as well as take a fun Canadian quiz. After lunch, guests will be treated to entertainment by Michelle Carlisle.
Cost is $9 for members and $11 for guests.
On the evening of Saturday, June 28, McKee is hosting its own Eclectic Coffee House. Remember all of those old folk songs? Come and be entertained by Howard Solverson and guests from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Snacks, beer and wine will be available.
