Bengalis in Vancouver (Bongmilanti) presents BongMilanti Sharodiya Utsab – Durga Puja 2023 – a cultural festival – at the East Delta Community Hall on Oct. 14 and 15.

Bengalis in Vancouver are a not-for profit society to promote culture and heritage mainly for Bengali speaking community descendants from both India and Bangladesh in the Metro Vancouver and Lower Mainland areas.

This cultural event in Delta is more special than ever, as it ties the community members with an emotional quotient.

Organizers plan to bring together the entire Bengali community in this biggest extravaganza of peace, love and camaraderie. Durga Puja is not just any festival, it is an emotion that Bengalis grow up with – and we want to be a part of it, seeking Maa Durga’s blessings as she graces us with her auspicious presence. In order to entertain the audience, the festival would be accompanied by multiple performances of live music and dance, a glamorous fashion show and fun and games for both children and adults.

The event also has a main cultural attraction – a musical gala night with celebrated singer Ratul Parbat on Oct. 14.

Organizers have also partnered with several eateries who will setup stalls serving delicious food to the attending community members. There will also be multiple local traders showcasing their product spread.
