Start your December right and get into the spirit of the festive season with the Delta Choral Society.
On Dec. 1 and 2, the Delta Choral Society presents Christmas Joy with more than 100 singers from the Delta Community Choir, the Delta Chamber Choir, and the Delta Children’s Choir, all under the direction of John Williams.
This concert will regale you with festive tunes as they perform a program that includes both gospel music and many other familiar Christmas favourites, including Williams own beautiful composition Shepherds in the Night.
Williams looks forward to the performances, noting that the concert, “will have something for everyone and will be a very joyful, beautiful, and festive concert with music in several styles.”
Three concerts will be held at Cedar Park Church, 5300—44th Ave. in Ladner.
Get your tickets soon – the Saturday matinee performance is already sold out.
The other concerts are Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.deltachoral.ca.
Concession proceeds will benefit two organizations – the Unique Get Together Society and Deltassist Food Bank.
