The New Year for the Delta Photo Club begins tomorrow at the KinVillage Recreation Centre in Tsawwassen.
Set-up and socialize is from 7 p.m. and the meeting runs from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.
Have an interest in photography or did Santa bring you a new camera? Membership in the DPC is open to photographers of all skill levels. Members learn about many aspects of photography, share their photographic knowledge, receive a weekly newsletter and can attend special sessions and social outings.
The first meeting of the month is workshop night, with presentations from experts on a wide variety of topics including equipment, software handling, and photo techniques. Second Wednesdays are selection nights where images are chosen from member submissions to represent the club in competitions hosted by other photo clubs. Third Wednesdays are print nights where members’ prints are displayed, reviewed and discussed. A similar format for digital images is followed on the fourth Wednesdays of the month.
