Local artist and event organizer Jan Rankin will once again bring South Delta’s vibrant arts community together for a much-anticipated weekend show.
This public event will feature a wide range of art and artisanal items for show and sale from 32 of Delta’s finest creators. Visitors will enjoy browsing two floors and meeting artists, taking in live music, on-site food, door prizes, and more.
The event runs Nov. 4 and 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., both days, with free admission and parking at Ladner’s Harris Barn (4140 Arthur Dr.)
Since the show’s first run in 2018, Rankin’s mission and passion has been to bring together the diverse talent of artists and artisans in the Ladner and Tsawwassen area with art lovers and collectors. This gently juried and carefully curated show supports artists and offers so much to visitors.
“It’s a chance to get to know artists and their artwork and soak in the beautiful show ambiance the Harris Barn offers,” said Rankin. “It’s also the perfect way to shop locally for the holidays because there’s something for everyone. Explore one-of-a-kind handcrafted, exquisite items you won’t find anywhere else.”
Artists appreciate the enthusiasm and energy that visitors bring to the event.
For The Love Of Art show and sale builds momentum each year, attracting a wide audience from Delta and beyond. Be sure to catch headliner music act Alex Whittaker and performances by Zoe Rapos and Mateo Mazari. On-site food by Mr. Mom’s Catering. This year’s community fundraiser is Delta Community Foundation.
