For the month of April, each student from the class brought in pennies they had collected at home.

Through careful counting and a lot of fun, the class raised $63 for the Delta Hospital Foundation's Every Penny Counts campaign.

The Every Penny Counts campaign's goal is to collect one million pennies ($10,000) to purchase a Triple Lumen IV Pump. To date, the foundation has collected 300,000 pennies ($3,000), which weigh a staggering 1,386 pounds.

Businesses and organizations interested in joining the corporate challenge can get more information by calling 604-940-9695.

The foundation is located inside Delta Hospital's front entrance.

For more information on where and when you can drop off your pennies, contact the foundation at 604-940-9695 or email info@ deltahospital.com.

In complex cases, patients may need more than one medication administered at once. The Triple Lumen IV Pump can administer up to three medications at a time with greater flexibility and puts less stress on the patient.
