HeadsUpGuys, in partnership with The Gary Cable Foundation, is excited to announce the inaugural Gary Cable Project Fundraising Concert. Legendary Rock Live! at Genesis Theatre on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. with special musical guest, Al Harlow of PRISM.

Following it’s two sold-out Tours in 2023, the ‘Project promises to perform some of the greatest music ever made - the reason why it’s been dubbed “Legendary Music by Legendary Musicians.”

“I have the pleasure the share the stage with eight of the finest musicians anywhere, including two current members of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame,” said band leader Gary Cable. “Every player has a pedigree, has worked with the legends in the music industry. At the end of the day, it’s all about the music. We perform, and help keep alive, some of the greatest music ever recorded, and this year we have the pleasure of inviting Canadian rock icon Al Harlow to join us and perform some of PRISM’s unforgettable hits.

“At this stage of our careers, we have an opportunity to give back to the community.”

For the Ladner stop on the tour, and what is hoped to be an annual event, all proceeds will benefit the HeadsUpGuys, a Vancouver-based mental health resource for men.

HeadsUpGuys, a program of The University of British Columbia that operates under the leadership of Dr. John Ogrodniczuk, provides men with the practical tools, strategies, and support they need to successfully fight depression and prevent suicide. Suffering from depression can be a confusing and isolating experience. We show guys what the road to recovery can look like, and how they can get on track – a one stop shop for learning about depression and how to deal with it.
