Blue Moon Marquee is coming to Ladner.

This Juno-nominated band will appear in concert at the Genesis Theatre in Ladner on Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Blue Moon Marquee writes and performs original compositions influenced by anything that swings, jumps, or grooves. A.W. Cardinal (vocals/guitar) and Jasmine Colette (vocals/bass/drums) have played for a vast gamut of crowds at jazz clubs, folk venues, blues haunts, prisons, dive bars, and prestigious festival stages. Artists such as Louis Armstrong, Howlin’ Wolf, Tom Waits, Memphis Minnie, and Django Reinhardt are deeply infused in the soul of their music.

At the 2023 Maple Blues Awards, Blue Moon Marquee received four awards: Entertainer of the Year, Acoustic Act of the Year, Recording/Producer of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year. With the 2023 Sumer Solstice Indigenous Music Awards, they won in the categories of Live Performance of the Year and Roots Album of the Year.

They were also recently nominated for two Juno Awards - Blues Artist of the Year and Indigenous Artist of the Year.

The goal of Genesis Theatre, which is operated by Delta School District, is to inspire our community with accessible experiences that celebrate imagination, diversity, and connection.

Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at: https://genesis-theatre.tickit.ca/.
