Delta Secondary student Emily Kristinsson is spearheading a food drive for the South Delta Food Bank tomorrow.
She will be at Budget Foods in Ladner Harbour Centre from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items and cash will be gratefully accepted.
Kristinsson says during the summer when people go on vacation, donations to the food bank slow down dramatically.
The 14-year-old says now that summer is over, it's time to re-stock the food bank's shelves.
