Laine Henderson, a vocalist and songwriter from White Rock, will be at the Songwriter Café in Tsawwassen tomorrow evening. Henderson honed her craft as writer and performer in New York City and regularly appeared at The BitterEnd, CB’s Gallery, the Living Room and Arlene’s Grocery. She moved on to Dublin, Ireland, opening for well-known Irish names such as Luka Bloom, The 4 of Us, Declan O’Rourke and Damien Rice. Admission for the Songwriter Café at St. David’s Anglican Church in Tsawwassen is $10, but songwriters for the open stage get in free (show up between 7 and 7:30 p.m. with two or three original songs prepared).
