Painter Gary Fox is bringing new works to the Tsawwassen Arts Centre for an exhibit that runs until late January.
A Moment in Time features a mix of mostly B.C. scenes, including marine, creeks, forests and mountains.
"That's what I like to capture, that feeling of being the first time you've walked out and seen this, and maybe nobody else has seen it," says the Ladner painter, who has an opening reception set for next week.
"I love nature, I love the colours and I love realism," he says. "I will go that little bit extra to try to get the detail to show it off."
He estimates there will be about 25 paintings (framed and in a range of sizes) at the show.
The exhibit runs at the Tsawwassen Arts Centre, 1172-56th St., until Jan. 21. Call 604-943-9437 for gallery times.
