Canadian Federation of University Women members are active in public affairs to improve education, environment, peace, justice and human rights.

There are close to 10,000 members in Canada, about 2,000 of them in 23 clubs across B.C.

Interested women are invited to a prospective members reception, which will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Royal Oaks clubhouse on 56th Street.

The club welcomes graduates from any postsecondary program, and raises scholarship funds for local students.
