Michael Warrington will be signing copies of his new book, Footsteps in Time, next weekend at Albany Books.

"I've had a long and interesting life. I've been in the army. I've studied medicine and been a prairie doctor," says the 88-year-old Tsawwassen resident.

"I've done a lot of things and I wanted to put it into a record."

Warrington included some of his life's stories in the book along with a collection of various aphorisms, quotations and songs that motivated or inspired him or appealed to his sense of humour.

Warrington, who grew up in England, was a tank officer in the British army during the Second World War. He studied medicine at London University and worked as a doctor in Saskatchewan before coming to B.C.

Warrington has a book signing scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. at Albany Books in Tsawwassen.
