The new year has begun with plenty of film production in Delta including The Sundance Pub in East Ladner being converted to an American tavern last week. Shows shot in the city in 2020 include (left) CW Network's Superman and Lois and (right) ABC's Big Sky.

It was a robust finish to 2020 as far as movie and TV productions go in Delta and the new year is off to a bustling start too.

The industry was shut down for several months due to COVID-19 related restrictions. When those eased in the late summer, Delta was a favourite destination for a number of productions and continues to be.

“We continue to see active interest in filming within Delta for the upcoming year,” said Steve Lan, Director of Engineering for the City of Delta which oversees the required filming permit applications.
