Renowned author Tim Bowling, who was born and raised in Ladner, has received another accolade for his work.
Bowling recently won the Acorn-Plantos Award for People's Poetry for his most recent collection of poetry, Tenderman.
The award is handed out annually to a Canadian poet whose work is accessible to all people in its use of language and image.
Bowling, who now lives in Edmonton, won the Stephan G. Stephansson Award for Poetry for Tenderman earlier this year.
