Probus meeting to tackle common food myths

The South Delta Probus Club is tackling food, nutrition and myths at its monthly meeting next week. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 at 10 a.m.

The South Delta Probus Club is tackling food, nutrition and myths at its monthly meeting next week.

Scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 at 10 a.m. at the Benediction Lutheran Church in Tsawwassen (corner of 56th Street and 6th Avenue), the meeting will feature a presentation on the 13 most important food and nutrition myths for the growing seniors population.

The presentation will also cover the 10 biggest food trends for 2015.

Probus is a worldwide association of active retirees.

South Delta Probus offers its members the opportunity to learn from speakers on key issues. The association is non-political and non-fundraising, and allows members to enjoy fellowship and activities that stimulate the mind and body.
