It’s time for South Delta to rock again.
During the summer, Guitar Marty conducts Rock School Camps at his South Delta studio and players close in age and skills play together as a band.
With the end of summer, fall comes and rehearsals get serious as the date of the final concert gets closer. The aspiring musicians get a little anxious, which Guitar Marty says is all part of the process.
He says the bands with more experience start to learn the finer points of music and performing, and can’t wait to rock at the final concert.
This year’s show is set for this Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Ladner Community Centre.
It will feature seven newly-named bands of various skill levels from South Delta.
