On the heels of a successful opening of their 27th season with Senior Follies, Sidekick Players Club is holding auditions for the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Rabbit Hole, by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Carroll Lefebvre.
Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. Rabbit Hole charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.
Auditions will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1 and Thursday, Nov. 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Tsawwassen Arts Centre, 1172 56th Street.
Cast requirements:
· Becca is isolated by her grief over the recent death of her four-year-old son, Danny (30’s)
· Howie is Becca’s husband (late 30’s)
· Izzy is Becca’s somewhat irresponsible younger sister (late 20’s, early 30’s)
· Nat is Becca and Izzy’s mother (50’s/60’s)
· Jason is the 17-year-old boy who accidentally struck Danny with his car.
All auditions will be in order of arrival. No appointments will be made.
