On the heels of a successful opening of their 27th season with Senior Follies, Sidekick Players Club is holding auditions for the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Rabbit Hole, by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Carroll Lefebvre.

Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. Rabbit Hole charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1 and Thursday, Nov. 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Tsawwassen Arts Centre, 1172 56th Street.

Cast requirements:

· Becca is isolated by her grief over the recent death of her four-year-old son, Danny (30’s)

· Howie is Becca’s husband (late 30’s)

· Izzy is Becca’s somewhat irresponsible younger sister (late 20’s, early 30’s)

· Nat is Becca and Izzy’s mother (50’s/60’s)

· Jason is the 17-year-old boy who accidentally struck Danny with his car.

All auditions will be in order of arrival. No appointments will be made.

It will be a cold read from the script. Sidekick is a volunteer organization and no renumerations will be paid. Please send resume and picture to [email protected].

Rabbit Hole will be in The Tsawwassen Arts Centre in mid-January.
