Art enthusiasts and culture connoisseurs, get ready to embark on a journey of creativity and inspiration as the South Delta Artists’ Guild presents its latest exhibition, Anticipation, from Oct. 27 to Nov. 19. The gallery, nestled at 1710 - 56th St., is just a stone’s throw away from the Tsawwassen Recreation Centre.
The exhibit is poised to captivate visitors with an array of artistic styles and media, each piece reflecting the unique perspectives of the talented artists behind them.
A standout feature of Anticipation will be live demonstrations by Sharee Reynolds, making decorative bird houses and Tammy Bailey, whose Christmas cards are produced with water colour. The two accomplished artists, will provide a rare glimpse into their creative processes, allowing attendees to witness the magic of art coming to life. These events are planned for Saturday Oct. 28 from noon until 3 p.m.
The guild is also offering a free card workshop on Saturday Nov. 18 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. Come and enjoy the fun, and tickle your artistic talents.
Anticipation will feature a wide variety of artistic styles, from sculpture, abstract and impressionism to realism and contemporary art.
