Get ready for an extraordinary double feature as Delta Stageworks presents acclaimed TV and stage actor/singer Beverley Elliott in her enchanting musical storytelling show Sink or Swim, on Saturday April 20 at the Red Barn in Southlands Tsawwassen.
The community is also welcome to join an exclusive storytelling workshop with the celebrated Vancouver artist, known globally for her role as “Granny” on ABC’s Once Upon A Time, in the morning of the same day. The storytelling workshop runs 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sink or Swim, sponsored by Southlands Grange, runs 6:30 to 10 p.m.
With musical direction by award-winning Vancouver musician Bill Costin, the cabaret-style show is a funny, poignant and critically acclaimed production that's travelled from being the winner of the 2016 Pick of the Vancouver Fringe Festival, to New York and back again. Featuring original songs, it delves into Elliott’s early years, blending heartfelt exploration with playful storytelling.
Both show tickets and workshop spots can be reserved at: deltastageworks.ca.
Tickets are $100 and include a shared charcuterie board. Proceeds from the benefit performance evening will go towards Stageworks fall show, To Perfection playing at Genesis Theatre in October.
