The South Delta Secondary Interact Club and the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen recently engaged in a little healthy competition for a good cause.

It was a club challenge to see which one could collect more blankets and warm clothing for those in need on Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.

The Rotary Club admitted defeat to the Interact Club, having collected 395 pounds of clothing to SDSS's 458 pounds.

This marks the fourth year in a row Interact has made a donation to Freshwave Ministries, which in turn distributes the items to people who need them the most in

Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
