Artistic flair to photos

Photographer Stephanie Chan has been tackling a range of projects since starting her business last summer.

"I've been getting a lot of people calling in for various sorts of photography projects," she says.

Chan, who lives in Tsawwassen, likes to offer more of a creative and artistic vision/approach to photos thanks to her background in the arts. She studied at Kwantlen and then Emily Carr, taking on a whole bunch of mediums ranging from painting, screen printing to darkroom photography.

She switched to digital cameras, began blogging and eventually had people asking her to take photos for them.

She describes herself as creative individual whose brain is always on the go and producing new ideas.

"Whatever people are looking for, when they come to my site and see my style and like it, it doesn't really matter to me what the event is," she says. "If they're looking for that style, or my eye, then I'm happy to do it."
