The Century Group George Hodgins Memorial Golf Tournament raised more than $19,000 last month for the Delta Hospital Foundation.
Since 2006, the annual tourney has raised over $86,000 for the hospital, helping to purchase the best and most up-to-date equipment and technology to benefit operating rooms, the emergency room and medical imaging.
This year's tournament was held Sept. 19 at Delta Golf Course.
"George Hodgins' relationship with the hospital began many years ago," said Teresa Cooper, executive director of the Delta Hospital Foundation. "We are so thrilled that Century Group, with this memorial golf tournament, has taken George's legacy and continued to support our hospital. Their commitment is tremendous and the entire community benefits."
