The Delta Chamber of Commerce and Delta police have a pair of crime and safety dialogue meetings set for later this month in local industrial parks.

The first will be held in Tilbury and the second on Annacis Island.

"Delta police recognize more can be done from a policing perspective but it needs the help of businesses in a community-based effort to reduce loss and harm in Tilbury and Annacis Island industrial parks," the chamber website states. "They want to hear from businesses about how all parties can work together on this growing problem."

The Tilbury meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Tilbury Ice, 7187 Vantage Way.

The Annacis Island meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters and Welders training facility and Morrison's Grill at 1658 Foster's Way.

Both breakfast workshops cost $25.
