Shawna Fiske realized one of her dreams recently.
She's the owner of Fiskco Health + Performance, a Ladner clinic which had a grand opening event earlier this month.
"I've always had the dream of opening back up in my hometown and connecting with our community here," said Fiske, who was born and raised in Ladner.
The clinic offers chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, nutritional support and more.
"We do a wide array of things to help our patients," said Fiske.
So far the team consists of Fiske and Danielle Miller. The pair both graduated in 2011 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Ontario with doctorate in chiropractic degrees.
"We became best friends there and we decided we should work together," said Fiske.
They're currently looking into a registered massage therapist, acupuncturist and naturopath joining the business.
"We're hoping to eventually have an integrated multi disciplinary-type clinic," said Miller, who's from Toronto.
