Coast Hotels & Resorts, including the Coast Tsawwassen Inn, has launched a new program that shows meeting and event planners how easy it is to go green.
eCoast Green Meetings introduces eco-friendly practices into every aspect of event planning by measuring the carbon footprint of each meeting and providing environmentally sustainable products and services that adhere to the principles of waste reduction, water conservation and responsible energy use.
Eleven locations, including the Coast Tsawwassen Inn, are taking part in the program. Each property has a customized carbon offset calculator to assess the tonnes of carbon emission produced by small, medium or large conferences and the corresponding cost to offset those emissions.
