Delta companies win big at Georgie Awards

Sarah Gallop Design Inc., Spire Development Corporation, Finnish Builders, and Tsawwassen’s Century Group all win awards

Delta builders and their partners continued to show why they are among the best in the business picking up a host of awards at the Canadian Home Builders Association provincial Georgie Awards.

The awards gala was heled on May 20 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Vancouver.

Sarah Gallop Design Inc. an interior design firm based in South Delta, landed two substantial wins for two homes renovated right here in Delta.

• Best Single-Family Residential Renovation – Over $1,500,000 was named to Delta’s own Spire Development Corporation with Sarah Gallop Design Inc. for the spectacular transformation of this Tsawwassen Bluff Home.

• Best Single-Family Residential Renovation under $250,000 finalist was named to Finnish Builders with Sarah Gallop Design Inc. for the Renovation that brought a heavenly feeling to a dated Delta home.

• South Delta’s Century Group took home several trophies for the Southlands Tsawwassen including: Best Project Identity, Best Sales Centre, Best Environmental Initiative, Residential Community of the Year, and Best Single-Family Home Production Development for the Courtyard Cottages.

They are an opportunity to celebrate the incredible work being done by builders, renovators, designers, and marketers, and to recognize their contributions to the communities they serve,” said Neil Moody, CEO of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia. “With the Wizard of Oz theme adding an extra layer of excitement, this year’s awards were filled with energy and excitement in anticipation of the announcement of winners.”
