Chewters Chocolates, a Delta company located on Annacis Island, picked up the export award at the 2023 BC Food & Beverage awards Wednesday night.

More than 300 businesses and products were nominated in over a dozen categories for the 16th annual awards, which highlights the innovation and determination of the food and beverage industry.

More than 23,000 digital votes were cast, and an expert panel of judges determined the winners.

“This year’s finalists reflect BC’s cultural diversity, cutting edge trends, and community consciousness with social and environmental sustainability in mind,” said James Donaldson, CEO of BCFB. “I want to congratulate all the nominees, finalists and winners who continue to raise the bar for excellence in BC’s food and beverage industry.”
