Niagara Falls Restaurant manager Kosta Dais says it was "very nice" to receive an Optimist Readers' Choice Award for the first time.
"We appreciate the busi-ss people have given us.
It shows they really love our pizza," he says, adding he wants to thank them for the support.
The family-run restaurant in Ladner, which got a facelift after renovations in late 2011, offers traditional pizzas as well as a variety of gourmet pizzas, according to its website.
While pizza is a favourite at the establishment, Greek food and pasta dishes are very popular as well, Dais notes.
The Dais family has a lengthy history - over three decades - of serving the community, dating back to opening Ladner Pizza before establishing Niagara Falls Restaurant.
Niagara Falls is located at 4879 Delta St. It's open for dinner only and offers delivery in Ladner.
