Double R Rentals held an open house last week to introduce its new second location in Tilbury to the public.
Brett Armstrong, who owns the store with brother Justin, said the new location is geared more towards servicing commercial and industrial clients, and was needed as the Ladner location was quickly running out of space.
The second location offers a larger space for repairs, as well as an expanded selection of rental equipment, deliveries and heavy-duty equipment.
Double R, which is also located on Elliott Street in Ladner as well as the new location on River Way in Tilbury, stocks everything from chainsaws and hedge trimmers to a 5,000-pound excavator or 45-foot articulated boom lifts.
Armstrong and his brother Justin have owned the Ladner-based business since 1998. Their family has run Double R since 1987.
