The new Great Clips in Tsawwassen is a good place to get a haircut because of the customer service, friendly environment and convenience, says owner Parm Perhar.
No appointments are required, she notes.
"It's a family salon. Anyone can walk in because there's no appointments. Anybody can walk in anytime; we're open from 9 to 9," she says.
Great Clips opened on Aug. 5 and business has been "really good" so far, Perhar says.
Perhar has been with Great Clips for 14 years but this is the first time she's owned a salon.
The Tsawwassen location has about a half dozen stylists.
The chain has approximately 3,000 locations throughout Canada and the United States and is billed as the world's largest salon brand.
Great Clips stylists receive ongoing training to learn advanced skills and the latest trends, the company's website states.
