Grand opening celebrations at Meridian Farm Market in Tsawwassen this Saturday will benefit the Delta Hospice Society.
Events and specials include giveaways for the first 100 customers, a prize wheel where every customer wins, music and entertainment, ribbon and cake cutting ceremonies, and lots of product samples.
There will also be a barbecue by donation with all proceeds going to the Delta Hospice Society. There will be Grimm's smokies, fresh salad, fresh cut fruit and water. Meridian has com-mitted to match the total of all donations that day up to $1,500.
The market, which opened March 14 in the Tsawwassen Shopping Centre, provides a one-stop shop for meats, seafood, produce and specialty items.
