Meridian well received

It certainly didn't take long for Meridian Farm Market to become a hit with Optimist readers. The market opened in March at the former site of Jack's TV in Tsawwassen and can already say it's a Readers' Choice Award winner.

It certainly didn't take long for Meridian Farm Market to become a hit with Optimist readers.

The market opened in March at the former site of Jack's TV in Tsawwassen and can already say it's a Readers' Choice Award winner.

The family-run company opened its first store in 1989 in Port Coquitlam and has added stores Maple Ridge, Langley, White Rock and Tsawwassen.

The Tsawwassen location is the first to offer produce and other food items instead of solely specializing in meat and seafood.

"It's a community fresh food market, specializing in fresh local produce, fresh baked breads, deli, dairy and a high-quality selection of meats, seafood and delicacies you won't find anywhere else," president Josh Penner explains on the company website.

"We still hold true to the values and principles that made our first shop a success 25 years ago. We're focused on giving you good old fashion friendly service and quality products that we are happy to serve at our family table."

Meridian Farm Market is located at 1202A 56th St, Tsawwassen. Visit the store online at www.meridianfarmmarket.ca.
