The M&M Meat Shops location in the Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall is having a charity barbecue tomorrow.
The hamburger and hotdog barbecue will benefit Delta Hospice, said franchisee Belinda Guité.
"They were fantastic with my husband when he passed away," she said.
The event goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The store has been open for 12 years, Guité noted,
adding it's just undergone a big renovation that gives the business "a whole new look."
The Tsawwassen M&M has done over 200 fundraiser barbecues for schools, sports teams, local fairs, charities and other nonprofits, Guité said.
"We're quite involved in the community."
M&M Meat Shops offers products ranging from steaks to desserts, party foods and convenient one-dish meals.
The Canadian-based business opened in 1980 and has over 420 stores across the country.
