Delta MP Carla Qualtrough will be the guest speaker at a Delta Chamber of Commerce meeting next week.
Qualtrough, a humanrights lawyer and Paralympic swimmer, won the local riding in last October's federal election and was appointed to the dual cabinet role of minister of sport and persons with disabilities.
She'll speak to her portfolio's priorities moving forward, the chamber's website notes.
The lunch meeting takes place Wednesday, Jan. 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Delta Town Country Inn. It costs $35 for chamber members and $45 for non-members. Register online at deltachamber. ca.
