Social skills are the focus at Sunny Town Learn Play Childcare Centre in Tsawwassen.
"That's very important to us. The children really love it here. They have fun playing," said owner Ray Win Hatcher.
The childcare facility, which opened last month, offers infant and toddler care, a group daycare/preschool program and school age care.
School age care is offered for South Park students but she said she's looking to expand to offer pick-ups and drop-offs for other schools.
Teachers, who are trained early childhood educators, also play with the kids.
"That's part of my philosophy," she said.
There is also an enclosed play yard for preschool kids and the infant/toddler group.
Families need to call to register for drop-in care.

The centre's hours are 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m.
