Open Space Yoga's fourth annual Shopping Day for Hospice offers an opportunity to buy Christmas gifts and support a good cause at the same time.
Visit Open Space Yoga at 4880 Delta St. in Ladner Village on Saturday, Nov.
17 between 11: 30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to shop for items and services from the following retailers: Sonja Picard Jewelry, Potters for Hospice, The Upstart Crow, The Portal, Raintree Day Spa, Lyck Bodycare, Pebble Creations, Amy Henwood Designs, Henna by Hini, Lara's Cuisine, It's All About The Yoga and Open Space Yoga Boutique.
Fifteen per cent of all sales will be donated to the Delta Hospice Society, with the exception of Potters for Hospice, which will be donating 100 per cent of all pottery sold.
To complement holiday shopping that day, Bombay Joe's, a popular Ladner Village Indian food restaurant, will serve a selection from its extensive menu.
Lara's Cuisine will also offer baklava and coffee.
"We look forward to hosting this shopping day each year," says Open Space owner Michael Rudd. "It is a time of giving and this shopping day provides a way for all of us to give back to an important charitable organization in a very practical way.
"We realize how precious everyone's time is and thought having many diverse retailers in one location may be of benefit to people."
