Community members of the Port Community Liaison Committee presented donations to OWL and Deltassist last week on behalf of the committee that meets throughout the year to discuss port-related matters.
Instead of receiving gift baskets as a thank you for volunteering their time, community members asked Port Metro Vancouver to make a donation to local charities.
The committee chose OWL and Deltassist.
