Residents are invited to write a rave review about a product or service from a Tsawwassen business for a chance to win Tsawwassen Shopping Dollars.

The Tsawwassen Business Improvement Association is accepting submissions until Oct. 31 in its I got it in Tsawwassen contest that offers five prizes of $100 Tsawwassen Shopping Dollars, redeemable at over 60 businesses.

"Tsawwassen has many unique merchants that appeal to many of our residents for various reasons. This contest is a chance to share an experience about how one of our local businesses has exceeded your expectations," said BIA executive director Ana Arciniega.

"With over 200 businesses in the Tsawwassen commercial downtown, we want the community to share with us where they found that great experience. It can be anything, from your favourite hairstylist to your ultimate food treat to a great staff member. We want to know who or what people love in Tsawwassen and why."

The contest can be entered online through the BIA website at ShopTsawwassen.com, by email at [email protected] or through the Tsawwassen Business Improvement Association's Facebook page.

Besides the $100 Tsawwassen Shopping Dollars, the five winners will be featured in the BIA's Christmas in Tsawwassen publication later this year. The winners will be announced Nov. 2.

BIA promotions aim to raise awareness of the economic activity generated by Tsawwassen's town centre, both in product made locally and in the variety of service, retail and professional sectors.

"We celebrate the fact that we have a diversity of businesses, expertise and quality products accessible to our residents without having to drive outside of our community. We want to support them and hope our shoppers support them too," said Arciniega.
