The Urban Rack was once again the hottest ticket in town as it hosted another "sold out" Spring Awakening Fashion Show and Charity Event last Thursday evening.

The ladies of South Delta came together at the Trenant Park Square store for a fun and inspirational evening in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association's South Delta

chapter. This year's benefitting charity was a very personal choice for the staff at The Urban Rack as one of their own suffered a devastating loss this past year when her sister could no longer cope with the brutal challenges associated with postpartum depression. By sharing her sister's story Alana Brookes hopes it will spark and continue the conversation around mental health.

Thanks to the coveted charity bags with items donated from suppliers, The Urban Rack and local businesses, the evening raised $3,355, which will directly support people struggling with mental illness in the community. The donation was dedicated to the beautiful Sara O'Brien.
