Building customer relationships is big for the Rogers Wireless store in Tsawwassen.
The company's radio ads talk about being consultants, not salespeople, and providing more than just a one-time sale, notes store owner David Ainsworth.
"That's important to us, that we create that ongoing relationship with our customers," he says.
Ainsworth also says winning an Optimist Readers' Choice Award for the first time was "really important to us."
The Cellworks location offers basic wireless service, pay as you go options, tablets and basically anything in the wireless world, he explains.
"We're just not going to sell you something, we'll make sure we take care of all your needs," notes Tara King, a regional retail sales manager.
At its Tsawwassen location since 2004, the store has three employees and is open six days a week.
