Tsawwassen Thrifty Foods store manager Grace MacInnes and Delta Hospital Foundation events and corporate giving coordinator Jackey Zellweger were on hand Monday to promote the Help Out One Buck at a Time fundraising campaign.

"The Delta Hospital Foundation is excited to be a part of the Thrifty Foods Help Out One Buck at a time fundraiser," said Zellweger. "Each dollar raised supports important hospital initiatives for our hospital which are, in turn, vital to individuals and the families in our area."

One dollar from the sale of every four-pound bag of certified organic Buck Brand Navel Oranges until March 13 will be donated to the hospital foundation nearest the Thrifty Foods store where the purchase made.

The four-week campaign is expected to raise funds for seven hospital foundations on Vancouver Island and six in the Lower Mainland.
