Tsawwassen has its own bunnies - the chocolate kind.
The annual Great Bunny Search promotion organized by the Business Improvement Association (BIA) of Tsawwassen is now on and will run until April 2.
When you find the bunny at any of the 74 participating Tsawwassen businesses be sure to enter your name for the draw to win the bunny-in-a-basket and $20 Tsawwassen Shopping Dollars. The draws will take place at each business on April 3.
"We would like our community to discover the many wonderful businesses they have locally. Our goal is to encourage residents to use this fun promotion as an opportunity to enter into shops that they might not visit on a regular basis," said Ana Arciniega, executive director of the BIA of Tsawwassen.
"Year after year, we hear how happily surprised people are at 'discovering' so many great businesses in their own town."
There are 74 participating businesses and each is identified with an Easter themed sign as well as decorative paws to help shoppers find the bunnies.
"Our businesses really enjoy participating in this promotion as it gives them a chance to interact with potentially new customers," said Arciniega. "It is vital for the future of our business community to receive the support of our local shoppers.
"This is a fun way to visit a variety of them without having to purchase anything - just check them out."
