Winter makes Delta stop

B.C. Chamber of Commerce president and CEO John Winter will be speaking at a Delta Chamber of Commerce luncheon next Tuesday. He'll be talking about the B.C.

B.C. Chamber of Commerce president and CEO John Winter will be speaking at a Delta Chamber of Commerce luncheon next Tuesday.

He'll be talking about the B.C. Agenda for Shared Prosperity, an initiative on which the provincial chamber partnered with the Business Council of B.C.

The luncheon costs $35 for members and $45 for non-members. It goes from 11: 30 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m. at the Coast Tsawwassen Inn on Feb. 26.

. The chamber is holding a free for members social media seminar next Thursday, Feb. 28.

Constant Contact's Guy Steeves presents the session from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Delta Town & Country Inn.

. There will be a free for members seminar about the transition from HST back to PST on March 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the chamber office, 6201-60th Ave., presented by the B.C. Ministry of Finance.

. Trainer Dennis Hilton will present a workshop on becoming a "Service Excellence Organization" on April 10. The workshop will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Delta Town & Country Inn. It costs $30 for members or $40 for non-members.
