A few members of the Delta Police Department and one Special Olympian got to meet a hockey legend last week. From left, Delta police Const. Lisa Coupar, deputy chief Lyle Beaudoin, Delta Special Olympics athlete Chelsea Kaake and S/Sgt. Debbie McLeod met Gordie Howe at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond last Friday. The meeting was arranged by the Vancouver Giants to promote the team's partnership with the Delta Police Department and their commitment to Special Olympics.
