Airshow at Boundary Bay tomorrow

The annual Boundary Bay Airshow will feature more than three hours of aerial demonstrations.

There will be plenty of entertainment in the sky when the Boundary Bay Airshow takes flight tomorrow.

The annual show at Boundary Bay Airport includes more than three hours of aerobatic performances as well as static displays and a Port of Vancouver Family Zone.

The free event is put on by the Corporation of Delta and Alpha Aviation Inc., operators of the airport.

The lineup of aerial performers includes former Snowbirds pilot Brent Handy, California's Vicky Benzing in a Second World War era Boeing Stearman, Bud and Ross Granley, along with Grace Borsari and her EC120 helicopter.

Gates open at 11 a.m. and the show is scheduled to begin around noon with opening ceremonies. The action is expected to wrap up at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs, sunglasses, sunscreen and hats. Pets are not allowed.

Boundary Bay Airport is located at 7800 Alpha Way and can be accessed from Ladner Trunk Road via 72nd and 80th streets.
